Laser Cutting & Bending: Modular Brackets

Manufacturing of prefabricated metal structures and high-precision brackets from 1.5 mm sheet steel featuring an integrated slot-and-tab alignment locking system.

Manufacturing Technology & Engineering Solutions:

Serial manufacturing of modular mounting brackets is based on a precise combination of high-definition fiber laser cutting and sequential CNC brake bending. The core benefit of this assembly is its total geometric repeatability and the implementation of interlocking "slot-and-tab" joint systems, completely preventing errors during final layout configuration and parts positioning.

  • OPTIMAL SHEET GAUGE & METAL SELECTION Certified cold-rolled structural, galvanized, or stainless sheet steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm is utilized for base plates and structural wings. This gauge guarantees a perfect ratio between ultimate bracket stiffness, weight optimization, and metal ductility during intricate spatial cross-bending sequences.
  • COORDINATE PIERCING AND HD LASER CUTTING Fastening holes, technical layout apertures, and part profiles are processed via advanced fiber laser cutting complexes. This secures hole axis positioning tolerance within ±0.05 mm. Driven by numerical algorithms, the connection slots perfectly align with matching tabs for a swift, zero-backlash manual pre-assembly.
  • MULTI-STAGE CONSECUTIVE CNC PRESS BENDING To form structural ribs and side flanges, the sheet metal components undergo multi-step bending operations on precision CNC press brakes. Carefully selected punch and die radii prevent material thinning or micro-cracking within deformation stress zones, preserving structural integrity under extreme load ratings.
  • "SLOT-AND-TAB" DESIGN FOR RAPID FIELD ASSEMBLY The unique geometry allows intricate modular components to be interlocked effortlessly like a construction kit. The alignment tabs and corresponding slots rigidly fix the position of components relative to one another prior to final welding or mechanical fastening. This accelerates final manufacturing throughput by multiple times.
